Salute to Adventure - the Frank Worsley Story.  In August 2008 the Akaroa Museum (New Zealand) opened a permanent exhibition acknowledging the remarkable life of Frank Worsley.  As the skipper on Sir Ernest Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1914-17) he was responsible for navigating a small life-boat 800 miles across the southern ocean to safety after the expedition's ship the Endurance sank.
