“We took risks, we knew we took them; things have come out against us, and therefore we have no cause for complaint, but bow to the will of Providence, determined still to do our best to the last…”

 Captain Scott’s diary, 1912.  British Antarctic (Terra Nova) Expedition 1910 – 1913

CONSERVATOR APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED.

Approximately once a year the Trust calls for applications from professional conservators interested in working on the Trust’s conservation project in Antarctica and New Zealand.

Applications for the 2009/10 summer and 2010 winter intake closed 10th April 2009.

Interested in being advised when the next recruitment round opens?

This is a long term project which will extend to at least 2014. There will continue to be opportunities for both summer and winter positions and the needs of the conservation work programme will evolve each season.

The selection process for conservators generally takes place in the first quarter of each year. If you are a professionally trained conservator and missed the above intake complete the Registration of Interest form below and we will notify when the next round of applications are open.
